Campbell Valley Park 2015

If you have ever wondered or tried to remember what it was like to be 3 years old about to turn 4 then let me remind you... Here is an unedited, imperfect bunch of photos that accurately depict what it's like to be 3 and to never stop moving or look at the camera... but what they do so perfectly capture is how joyful it is to be young... where all that matters in the whole world is that the sun is shining, there is a big empty farm to play in and that you are surrounded by the friends you love most in the world. Cheers to being 3 about to turn 4!

On the eve of her 4th birthday

Its 10:48pm and Im still awake... Maybe its because Im trying to prolong the inevitable. Tomorrow she is 4.

Im laying in bed beside her right now... Her hand is resting on my arm and her skin feels so warm against mine. For 4 years... She has slept on my chest or in the crook of my arm every single night. Ive heard every moan, cry, and giggle in her sleep. Ive woken up to her sweet face every morning for 4 years. Never could I have dreamed of a love like this.

On the eve of your 4th birthday my sweet girl my wish for you is that as you find your confidence and we begin to spend more time apart that you always take my love with you. That you always feel it in your heart and know that I will ALWAYS be here for you and that I will always come back.

Pumpkin Patching

This year we decided to go to a pumpkin patch in Port Kells. It was a cute little patch that was FREE! You only had to pay for the pumpkins and it included all the fun pumpkin patch extras like a hay ride, corn maze, haunted house and animals.

Nyah was totally enthralled with the fish pond. I'm pretty sure she made Jay take her back there a couple times during our visit.

Daddy took Nyah through the corn maze and momma was so thankful cause there was a tiny tunnel at the end that you have to squeeze through! Jay said he almost didn't fit!

The next few photos show just how silly these two can be.... they literally crack me up!!

What a happy group of people... lol!

Playing catch up...

Somehow it's already the middle of November and Nyah's birthday is next week!! Before that happens I really want to catch up the blog with some of the stuff we did in September and October.

September we celebrated Brody's 4th birthday with a lot of un-cuddly critters. I thought Nyah would be a little hesitant but once again she proved me wrong when they brought out a GIANT dead stick bug and she said "Awwwwwwwwww so cute!".

That is the face of a little girl who is so excited! All the kids loved the critters! Some of the momma's maybe not so much... *insert Auntie Deanne up on a chair when they brought out the girl below.

That smile melts me every time.

Well Hello there Mr. Turtle... Can you believe someone had him as their pet? All the critters at the party were from a rescue place out near our house. If I remember correctly the presenter said that his owner's drilled a hole in his shell so they could put him on a leash in the backyard. Poor guy!

Uncle Paul was very brave to hold this little guy! lol!

I love his face! So brave and having so much fun with his friends and granny!

Happy birthday sweet boy! It has been such a pleasure watching you grow up. I can't believe you are 4 years old. It seems like just yesterday I was meeting you in the hospital with Nyah in my belly. I love how you always try and make Nyah laugh (which she always does). I'm so glad she adores you... we all do! xo

I threw this picture in just because I love her ponytail. The kiss curl ends are so darn adorable. I'm never cutting them!
