To my sweet girl,

Our second mothers day together has come and is almost gone. You are all snuggled up in bed, fast asleep and I am sitting here thinking about what an amazing year it has been. This has been a year of major accomplishments. You went from being my sweet cuddly baby to my curious toddling toddler. Somewhere in between there you learned to sit on your own, crawl, walk and now you can almost run. Watching you achieve these milestones has been so amazing. Every time you smile at yourself when you complete a new feat, my heart flutters with joy. I have done my very best to cherish every moment and engrave it in my memory.

Its so hard for me to put into words the feelings of love I have for you in my heart... and my soul. There is a sweet little book we read at bedtime that is called How do I love you. I can remember reading this book to you when you were just a teeny tiny baby a few days old and choking back tears when I got to the last page...

Nyah, I love you as the moon loves each shinning star. I love all that you will be and everything you are.

Thank you for being such an amazing little girl. I feel so blessed to call you my daughter and I look forward to each and every day that we will have together. I love you!

.its almost here.

Eeeeeeeeee.... its almost mothers day!! I LOVE mothers day. For me, it ranks right up there with Christmas! In anticipation of tomorrow, I thought I would share some special mommy and me photos we had done. I was really hoping they would have turned out better but with so many variables... ie. weather and a very active toddler sometimes you get what you get!

And it wouldn't be Mothers Day without acknowledging my own very special mom! We never did any mommy and me photo shoots growing up as she was always so camera shy but when I got married I was so lucky to get this beautiful photo of my mom and I. This photo will always be so special to me.

.2nd annual Mama's Day High Tea.

It has been an absolutely glorious weekend! The sun has been shinning and the temperatures have been in the high 20's. On Sunday I met up with my mommy group for our 2nd annual high tea for mother's day. I can't believe that we are already celebrating our 2nd mother's day! This time last year our babies were little enough to bring with us but this year in fear of destroying Clancy's tea house we left our crazy toddlers at home! I feel so lucky to be a part of this amazing group of women. As a group we have been through some of the most exciting and difficult times of our lives. We have shared our journey's and our stories. Each one of us learning as we go. I am so happy to call these women friends! I wish you all the very happiest mother's day! xo
